The BARC Championship has firmly established itself as one of the best value for money single seater series in the world, and provides drivers with a fantastic stepping stone to its National and International counterparts, such as Formula Renault U.K, N.E.C and Eurocup.
Racing will be in identical cars to that used in the 2009 Renault U.K Championship, with the exception of a slight reduction in power to reduce costs. Being able to compete in these cars against a large grid of very competitive drivers, at less than half the cost of any other Formula Renault Championship, is the main reason for the overwhelming popularity of BARC.
